Ick or no Ick

Well my convict has small tiny white dots on only it's fins, the clown loach is fine and my BGK is his normal jet black self... I'm adding garlic with the foods, but, is this ick or not???

BTW it's been like this for quite a while, still no dots on other fish.

One of my Pleco's had few larger white dots on his dorsal fin only as well....never found out what it was, never seemed to harm him, and it never transfered to any other fish. I dont think its the garlic as i never have used garlic. Harmless IMO

okay. I trust you... my worry is my poor little clown who is always hiding now - (I accidentaly forgot to turn on the lights one day and he isn't coming out, only a few mintes whemn dark)

sorry to hear...honestly its the worst when your fish dont want to come out, like thats there home...it sucks
why dont you get a timer for your light, i got mine from a local hardware store for like 10 bucks, its one of the digital ones...works really well

Do you have only the one clown loach? They really prefer to be with some friends, maybe getting some more will help bring it out?

Please post photos of the affected areas. Your thread is rather confusing whether fish has ich or not. Photos are one way to cut down wasting time for speculations.

Every now and then I notice dots of white on my fish only to discover they are microbubbles on them. Could be a possibility. Usually only occurs with predators due to how hard they smack the surface.

dude trsut me..its not normal @ all.. i had blue acaras with whit dots but the other fishie with them died first!!! post sm pics so the experts will help u... ITS NOT NORAML
