My local fish store said I can't treat ick if theres a crayfish in the tank, because it would kill the crayfish? I bought the Tetra Ick guard.
I have one feeder fish that I initially got when I bought a dozen feeders. I dumped them in my main fish tank, and the survivers after a few hours I picked him out with the net and put him in my 20 gallon. Well The remaining surviver after several days now has some white spots on his tail. The amount of spots vary from day to day. There is a molly in the same 20 gallon tank with him but he has no white dots.
Can a crayfish catch ick? Can I treat this one feeder or will it kill the crayfish from the tetra ick guard? My querinitine tank also has my crayfish.
Thanks
I am now querintining all feeders from now on, but this is step one.
