Raise the temperature to at least 86. If the fish can take it go up to 89-90. This alone will usually kill ich in a few days. You can also add aquarium salt as well. Be sure add an air stone or something when you raise the temp. If its not getting better in 4 days you might need meds but I doubt you will

Check out this thread:http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?20681-One-proven-way-to-treat-ich-ick

The ich will typically get worse before it starts clearing up, so don't go crazy with adding more salt than is recommended or raising temps too high. I'm currently on day 5 of treating an ich outbreak (1 Tablespoon of salt per 5 gallons and temps at 86F) and it's starting to clear up really nicely. If this method ends up not taking care of it after 2 weeks of treatment, I'm going to buy some Kordon's Ich Attack.

Be careful with treatments. It's more stressful than raising the temp and it can crash you filters depending on what you use. Which would give you another big problem. I d t keep albinos so, can't help ya there

If you are going the med route do a water change before adding the med's. I had ick twice and med's, high temp, and salt cleared it up in two days. I only had it on one fish at a time though because i bought them with ick (not knowing)
