Treating ick with my jds and little ebjd. What do I do what would work best? Seems like my biggest JD had it the worst. Only another 1 had it to. What worked best

Cheapest way is to increase the temperature to 87F and add salt. I generally add teaspoon of salt per gallon over a 3 day period and raise the temp around 1 degree an hour. Maintain the heat and salt level for a period of 10-14 days after you have seen the last visible ich.

Normal JDs are very comfortable in brackish situations, so you can easily bring the salinity above 3 ppt (parts per thousand) which kills emerging ick tomites. I throw rock salt in over 24 hours by the handful, until my condutivity/salinity meter reads just above 3ppt. (some ick wil survive if under 3ppt)
I have snorkeled with the normal type in brackish cenotes in Mexico, but I cannot speak to the EBs.
If the salt treatment doesn't work, any over the counter malachite medication dosed according to manufacture directions should work.
