ick?!??

there are little white dots, not to many one my discus's tail. If this is ick, how would i treat it?
any information would be wonderful.

What is the temp in your tank?

If it is Ich just bump the temp up above 84 degrees, your discus will like that temp better anyway. Unfortunately depending on what else you have in the tank they may not....

thats it? its at 84 on the dot. ill bump it up though, how long does it take to go away?

move it up a few more degrees for three weeks. add aquarium salt too. this treatment keeps them from reproducing. the adult die off in about three weeks. keep an eye on it and dont let it get out of hand.
