ID a catfish I no longer have

I thought it was a channelcat, but it had no spots, so maybe it really was a blue, or maybe it's something else altogether. I let it go on my cousin's farm years ago, and this is the only pic I could find. It is eating an elephantfish almost as long as it is in the picture.

Looks like a channel catfish to me too. They don't always display spots at any and all small sizes. Better photos would help. I realize any more photos are impossible.
