it doesn't look like a pure blood henlei .. . maybe some henlei hybrid

Have no idea about the tail..The fisherman just sent me that picture...I and was in doubt about the specie...

The bad thing is the tail could have helped ID this ray

With no tail it makes it harder

I think the tail is just moving in the pic that is all. Cool looking ray though. Id would only be a guess. Hybrid mix.
