Hoplarchus psittacus, the true Parrot Cichlid. These are large-growing South American fish that require a large tank and clean, warm water. My male dominates a 210 gallon at 14" long. Like most cichlids, they have varied personalities. Some people have shy parrots, others have dominant, aggressive ones. Mine is the latter. There's not a fish he doesn't bully or push around.
They seem to be susceptible to HITH if you don't keep their water clean and feed them properly. Mine's never had it but I've seen lots of pictures of them with it.
