ID and info please

Sold as a 'pearl parrot' but what it is? I am guessing a FH and BP mix?? What would I expect from this fish eg max size, final look etc The only hybrid I have is a huge BP so I am not clued up in this area

It's a Kilin Parrot which is a FH x BP hybrid. Expect it to be around most blood parrot's sizes and they are less aggressive than their normal FH. Your kilin parrot should be a good tankmate for your BP.

i agree with the first post, iv also kept kirin parrots in the past. this is exactly the same, its not a flowerhorn, only half.

Looks like a female and has a nice mouth shape. The kilin tend to look a lot more like BP, sometimes they look exactly like BPs except the color is of a FH. This one looks like a luan bao (coin shaped) FH and not necessarily a kilin.
