id and sex

i got this guy/girl? at 2.5 in now it is 5 in and have to be by himself cause he almost kill 10 in oscars, flowerhorns and just everything on my other tanks, this fish is truly a mad beast.
i was sold to me at the lfs as a "golden fh"wich i dont think has nothing to do with, if its a red devil its body shape and fins just look different from other red devils ive seen, maybe a hybrid but witch kind??
also would like to know sex, i think is a male but i just cant tell cause it looks different than males red devil ive seen.
it always seems to be fading on patches but the colour has remain the same.

some miscellaneous red devil/midas hybrid.
its possible that there is some low grade fh in there so technically it could be considered a golden fh. it just looks like a red devil/midas hybrid to me, judging by the pearling in the body and fins i would say there is some fh in there.

i didnt expect it to be a fh, i paid 5 buck for him/her, i love this fish whatever it is im just confused and curious, truly the baddest fish ive had.

Midas or Red Devil. 99% of all store bought breeds of these types is a mixed breed of the two.

They are nasty! Absolutely one of the most owner responsive cichlids out there!

I too need a vent shot to tell male or female. I would guess male but any more its hard to tell... Good looking by the way!

I've also seen similar fish labeled as "Rose Queens", whatever they are.
