I say it's a Kamalau(KML). I can see why people are saying it's a Kamfamalau(kamfa x KML) due to it's semi-fan tail characteristics that kamfas have. My hypothesis is that this piece has a nice tail for being a Thai KML, because it's an old school KML(less line/inbred) hence the strong tail but weak KOK. If you haven't noticed, most of the old school-looking FHs(LFS grade) have a strong tail but lack of colors and KOK for the same reason, they haven't been inbred much.
100% not a King Kamfa. Some people(not to mention any names, but someone like who sold you the fish saying it's a KK) say it's a KK for anything that's a kamfa or have lots of pearls for sales tactics. Or it also could be the reason that they have no clue what are KK's.
I hope this helps and good luck with the sale, it's a very appealing piece.
