ID Catfish

I was hoping it was a gulper, but I wanted to double check before buying. Sorry about the ****ty picture, but it was the best I could do at the time.

It's not a gulper but still a good find. It's a trachycorystes trachycorystes.

I'm thinking about it but they are asking 75 for it. It was originally at 150, but due to the injuries I haggled them down to 75. Is that fair?

If it was me I'd buy it. It's those rare wood cats you don't see.

Would get it for $75. I think it's a good deal. Be careful of smaller tankmates.

There's a very close relative of this fish kno4te has ID'd it as. The difference to ID the two is the other species has a white belly, I forget the scientific name, if this fish is all black including the belly then he is correct. Idk about differences in husbandry etc, I just remember a member here had a pair and they were the other species his name was something like koltsix. They're both rare so I think it's good deal.

Mine ate six big hampala barbs in a week lol so watch tankmates I didn't think he'd manage one because of there size.
I lost mine in a power cut about a year ago , he was a great catfish definitely on my list for the future if I see one cheap enough
