i have a friend who has 4 almost completely orange cichlids but they have black blotches on there bodies what kind of cichlids are these sorry i dont have any pics of them.

i would have to guess south amarican if they were african they would have vertical bands not bloches so i would say the "red devil chihlid" they have a good variation of shades and bloches

If they are mbuna, I would say OB Zebra.
