ID Datnoids Please

Can someone help confirm that all three of these fish are ITs. To me some of them look very silverish, but the store Insist they are all ITs. Thanks in advance.

I'm amazed people are still struggling to ID these fish, it's a shame the dat section gets cluttered with these ID threads

why is it a shame that there are new dat owners out there wanting help? i think thats a good thing, and you were in his position when you started.... with practice it is easy to differentiate between NTT, IT, AT, and NGT.... gets a little more difficult with ST's and CT's.... check some of the stickies, they should be helpful, and take pics and post em, most people will help you positively identify them

you're right, sorry OP just having a bad morning!

You can eliminate ATs easily as they are a different colour, a metallic silver. The body shape isn't as deep as the other tigers and also if you look at the caudal peduncle (the muscular part of the tail) ATs normally have 2 black blotches one on top of the other. Also I've never seen ATs to go unstable in the same way ITs do.

there's other little tips about IDing all the other dats too
