I got this guy from a lfs that was closing and couldn't keep it in decent conditions. All I was told was it was a freshwater eel from Peru, it's about 3" and is all black with small yellow spots on the body. I know many "freshwater eels" are really brackish or should be full on saltwater. It's in a 20g long right now and if it indeed isn't freshwater I can and will make the necessary changes. Thanks.
