State of chaos
Me and my friends found these in the woods in Staten Island NY. My first thoughts were a Big Cat claw and a Whale tooth, but I'm not so sure. Obviously they are not from native animals. Considering they were found within a hundred feet from what looked like a cult ritualistic site with what looked like a noose, a grave, and a bunch of candles, it's not that unlikely that they could have ended up there:screwy:
Quarter for size reference. The tooth is not perfectly cone-shaped (which makes me think it's not a Whale) and has light serrations on both edges.

are the real?

The right looks like a possible bear claw but overly curved. The other almost looks like a replica dino tooth. And heck the other could be a replica dino claw.

If the tooth has serations that eliminates the possiblility of being from a mammal. And no modern herps have teeth that big. need pic of the bottoms. like that part where they would attatch to the animal.

Possible seal tooth though depending on if it is serations or just wear.

Those were all we found. And they are 100% real, you can see sutures and cracks in them, the picture is in bad lighting.

the right one definitely looks like a bear claw. the other could be a seal tooth but too large.

It's the tooth and claw of a saber tooth tiger

jk.....

I really have no clue, but those are pretty dope finds

Just take them to the smithsonian and ask them. hahaha

Professors at universities usually have their email posted on the university website. I would look up a few good schools and send some emails to people in the field and see what they say. You're bound to get a response.

i'm pretty sure you have a sperm whale tooth and a bear claw. that's what they look like and they're too big to be anything else... other than fakes.

that's one hell of a find! what kind of blair witch crap was going on in there?!? sounds cool, you got any pics of the site?
