I agree on species, but not so sure on sex, because the detail on the dorsal fin is not clear. It looks to be fairly old.

Thanks for the help. Here’s a few more pictures, it’s really hard to get pictures of it as it likes to hide in the cave alot. It is peaceful mostly except it doesn’t like the peacock cichlid much and the peacock and it push each other around from time to time.
Yeah not sure how old it is, got it at this size and it sure is a very nice fish and colourful fish, found a article on them just now and it says it’s females that are colourful while males aren’t?
i agree with Milingu about it being female.
I edited one of your photos to make it easier to see detail, and with that, I don't see the typical spotting on the unpaired fins, a male would present.
