saw the fish in store but didn't take a photo.

shaped a lot like a dorado, similar attitude, aggressive, very active.

whitish silver in color but the mouth and lower jaw is a lot larger than a dorado and opens similar to arowanas/payara. white fins

thanks

Yeah, could be a Brycon, how did the tailfin look?

shape was same as the dorado with the diffuser looking bit mid tail but black and white only, no colors. yep good call it is a Brycon, but not the hilarii, found this photo and this is the fish.

it was a mean basstard, restlessly knipping and knocking every other fish in the tank around. one i saw was pretty big 12 inches and asking 220usd

actually I mis-ID'd the fish. byron above isnt the same fish. Here's some photos.

shop discounted the fish by 50% so couldnt resist. nasty lil guy. Got picked on by the dorado in dorado/odoe tank, then picked on the ATF's and Payaras in the other tank. In a seperate tank with a Ralph and seems ok now. Very curious to what it is.
