Id for this new fish

i just got this fish , i like the color on it, its african sure , but guy on LFs didnt know what kind it is, i just wondering is anyone know whats the name or kind of this fish, its about 5" and got it for 24.99$

I wouldn't set that in stone.
The fins are exaggerated-long. I would suspect it's been hormoned. If so a hormoned fish should show a bit more color than that unless it's a female and been in the dealer's tank long enough to fade.

FISH HAS MUCH MORE COLOR THAN SHOWING ON PICTURES, I TOOK THIS PICTURE WITH MY CELL PHONE, ITS DOESNT SHOW VERY WELL ,YES FISH HAS MORE COLORS ON IT. I THINK ITS MALE TOO, ALSO U R RIGHT , I THINK THEY USE HOMON, I SAW OTHER ONE ITS ( BLUE DOLPHIN ) MOORI, FISH HAD VERY LONG FINS ON IT, NORMALLY THOSE FISH DOESNT HAVE LOND FINS, ALL OF THESE FISHES WAS NEW IN THIS STORE, THEY TOLD ME THEY JUST GOT THEM YESTERDAY,

You cannot determine male or female based on color and fins alone on hormoned fish. It might be a male. Might not. The only way you'd know for sure was if you vented it.
