I do not know the variant but am 99% sure it's a female. Anyone have an idea of the variant?

I'm sorry but i do not know much about Frontosa. I figured it was a female because It is the same age as the male and it is smaller with no large hump on its head. The male is a few inches larger and has a huge hump. What would I be looking for if i was to vent it?

A different vent compared to the male's ;)

that one seems to have a hump starting to grow too. sorry i dont know much about them to be able to give you an exact sexing based on a hump or not. but i do hear that the males tend to have more blue to them. and with that said and the size of the fish i would guess it was a male.
