So I finally got my hands on this beautiful female creni. She is roughly 8", fat and healthy. Can anyone help me get the exact ID? I have her in a 125g with 4 adult severums right now. Please let me know specifically what I need to photo to help. I will PM Grey (Wetspocx) and see if he can get the collection point from Steve. What do you guys think?

**blurry but super high res pictures, click to zoom in**

Thank you very much for the reply. That could be it. The pics in the link and mine both have very clustered spangling just above the pectoral fins and the spotting on the dorsal narrows to a single line mid length on the body. Very interesting site.

I love this fish and have been wanting it for over a month. She has enough gold spangling to make "Mr T" jealous... :naughty:

Gorgeous fish! Looks a lot like my lepidota, except with even more spangling. Nice pickup for sure.

Thank you Conner! I'll get some decent pics up in the media lounge once she's settled down. I can't get good pics during the day because the tanks in my dining room. All I get is the glare you see above.

Nice looking Pike. I used to have one back in the day. Great fish, a bit of a bully though.

Thank you. My gold severum and rotkeil run the tank. She is actully very calm so far. We'll how things go when she gets in the 220g with less agressive tank mates.

Per Grey- "It was collected in Guyana, but the collectors there don't put any further info on the invoices."

I have a hunch is sp. British Guyana II ... but I don't have a subscription to the Cichlid Room Companion, which is the only place I've found a pic of that species. So if someone here has a subscription and can check it ...

i checked it out. seems possible but the pics of the british guyana II seems to show a more prominent humeral blotch than this pike. but also not all pikes of the same species look exactly identical.
