Was catching minnows at night with a small net and happened to be a lake that has muskies, northern and tiger muskies. Need help with id

Looks like its a northern pike. Tho I would advise you to check the state laws about collect gamefish with these methods.
 
I think that's a muskie. Pike have white spots with a dark base, muskie have light base with dark spots. Would be cool if it were a tiger, a hybrid between the two, but i doubt it. Nice catch, tbh i would have kept it haha.
 
Once that fish has touched your aquarium water, it is a very bad idea to release back into the wild.....Check NANFA's opinion on the matter

You say you did that on nanfa and you'd probably get banned for life lol. I got several lectures just for brining home an unID'd native killifish lol.
