Hi all,

Someone has brought a female ray about 12" disk into an lfs that has been in captivity for some time and i'm thinking of getting it. It isn't very active although when the assistant threw some food in it quickly ate everything so I think it's just from being moved.

Can anyone ID it from this pic?
Sorry about the quality I had to use a phone camera.

Thanks, N

retic???

Retic was my first thought but it is almost a light as the sand, which doesn't show very well in the pic. The retics I have seen tend to be darker. Could this just be because of moving stress?

need full tail pics

Thanks all,
I'll go back and try for a shot including the tail but it looks like humerosa is winning so far

Anyone got details on humerosa max size, been looking but haven't found much inof on them

I would say its a Humerosa. retics tend to be darker and also it doesnt quite look like a netted pattern like on retics. but this could be bec. its picture was taken through a cell phone. Im almost positive its a Humerosa.
