ID help please

Hi guys, wanted your opinion's on these guys. I just received them a few hours ago from a friend, who said he thought they were called 'gold' cichlids. I wasn't sure at first, because they were so washed out, but I just had a peek at them and they've since coloured up very nicely. I now think they may be juvenile Herotilapia multispinosa (Rainbow cichlid) - what do you think?

yeah i'd have to say rainbows as well, and a very nice bunch of them as well

No, they're definitely not dempseys in any way, but I appreciate the suggestion

Its been determined elsewhere (and here, thanks guys) that these are indeed Rainbows as I thought. I'm excited about them...I can't believe how pretty they are! They were so washed out at first, but when I came home from dinner and had a peek in at them, I couldn't believe the change. I love them already!

I'd have to say rainbow's too. what size are they all they have wonderfull coloring allready.. good luck..

Thanks They're about 2-2.5" at the moment.

rainbows are great,there like convict's less aggressive pretty cousin,they like to nibble on plants though
