So the "snail" I picked up today at the lfs turned into creeper instead. Nothing else in the tank yet so I am not too worried. But can anyone id this hermit for me so I can find out more info on the little guy. He is about a smidge longer than an inch long or so. Thanks everyone!
And I am such a noob, From now on I check what they sell me before I leave.
