ok this fish was sold to me as a spotted shovelnose. is that what it is? i know there are a couple of different species that look close to the same so what do i really have?

that looks like a TSN x RTC to me.

that is what i thought! but i went to planet catfish and found a couple of different kinds and there is one called a spotted shovelnose or Hemisorubim platyrhynchos. this fish is said to get to only 20".

its not Hemisorubim platyrhynchos. Its a RTC x TSN. Count on a pretty big fish and pretty fast too. Looks good though. I especially like the eyes. They almost look blue but maybe its just the pic.
