I was sold this fish as a Carpintis Escondido from a LFS. I'm pretty sure it was mislabeled. It's a pretty fish, but I don't think it's what I paid for. Any help would be appreciated.

I thought the same thing, the LFS I went to said it was shipped to them as an Escondido, if it's not. I'm gonna be heated since I paid 30 for this fish. It's a pretty fish to me, but if it's not what I paid for it's going back.
I think it may be a carpintis; just not an Escondido.....well let's wait for the experts to chime in

I do think it is h. carpintis, but not an escondido . . . as noted above, the escondido would have wormlike face markings, and this fish does not
