I bought This at the LFS and it was labled as texas cichlid but its definitly not your common texas.

Possibly a Texas hybrid- it seems to have red along the edge of its dorsal fin. (or am I just seeing things?)

ya your right it does!! Probally is a hybrid he is super aggressive too.

ya maybe, its got those really dark striped like a cuban or a female JD. or maybe even might be texas x black convict?

supposedly I just Got word that it is a Green spotted Texas???

Here is my Texas x JD! super agressive (like his mother) and also has the red tipped dorsal! I'm pretty sure it's a hybrid, but never heard of a green spotted tex.
