I'd lean Cr. lucius, but it hard to tell from those photos.

Could be Lucius or proteus. Proteus has been around lately with the Peru shipments.

I agree with Joe I would say crenicichla lepidota.. they dont look proteus too me.

Any thing you can tell me about them. Are they large or smaller pikes. I have been keeping bass and am now hooked on pike. Thanks in advance

If they are indeed lepidota, they are one of the smaller pikes. They have been in the hobby a long time and are relatively easy to keep and breed.
