From the size of the spots, I would say carpinte first guess. Could also be a cyno/carp. cross. Where did you get it? Some place reputable where they know the history of the fish?

I would need a side shot. My first inclination is that is a Hericthys carpinte. Cyanaguttatus has smaller spots that are more evenly lined up. Here's some comparative shots.

Cyano is my opinion... although I think I might see some worming toward the mouth, I guess it could be a carpintis...

IMO, it doesnt look like a pure carpintis. it looks to be a cross between the two...

To my eye, traits i would associate with Carpintis are more prominant in this fish. Ie; large, erratic spangling. Along with the vivid blue-green irredesence of the pattern.

It may well be a cross of the two, considering how close they are. But as Aquamojo questions, i see nothing specific to indicate this.
