I know I know, its sharing the same tank as the RTCxTSN. What is the yellow fin blue cichlid called? Is it common in the pet trade?

With that catfish in the corner, it looks like a feeder fish to me

It just for temporary, because my pleco in the other tank beat the crap out of it

and they are about the same size

I finally got the name of the fish, is called Yellow Top Mbamba (a type of lab)

After days of thinking, I still like my catfish, datnoid, bowfin and pleco more than cichlid

As said that catfish even if he is about the same size likely will decide to eat him soon... As for deciding what types are better... you haven't even had them grow up and breed yet how can you decide already. (I personally never could so I have both.)

Mine is a little different, it only eat pellets since the day I got him :D

I wouldnt worry about it, as long as I keep his belly full with pellets :D

Well I can say is good luck... Remember your catfish is an opportunistic feeder... So he roams at the night and if there is a sleepy fish right in front of him he will eat it. But it is your fish, just don't expect sympathy when you wake up one day and your catfish has a very large belly and you are suddenly missing a fish...

And you do have bigger tanks for him and the dat later on right?
