more like a silver, any whole body pic? just to make sure it aint a black. we've had false ID's before in this forum especially with silvers and blacks, LOL. but this one's head definitely look like a silver

When aros get bigger (the one in the pic looks fairly good sized) silvers and blacks start to look very similar

Looks like a black to me as well (from what I can see anyway)
It has a thin body, and the part of the fins that you can see resembles a black.

im asking cuz its not mine..... yet. im attempting to adopt it through an animal rescue, i just wanted to know what kind it is, its labled as a black on thier website too. thnx alot. ill let u know if i get my black also they say its less than a year how big of a fish can i expect at that age?

silvers have a more pointed snout while a blacks is more rounded off
