I always thought this guy was a mono or a mono/ocellaris hybrid, however recently I have been looking into maybe getting a pleiozona and I realized some of them look incredibly similar to mono's, and kind of like my guy. I know that both mono's and pleiozona can have the 4th bar, mine doesnt look like a bar as much as it does a spot. What has me thinking it was a pleiozona is because mono's have that dirty black solid pattern, and pleiozona have their black bars outlined in gold Spangling, just like mine. That could also be because of it being hybrid with an ocellaris though. Another thing to note is that my old mono was much more olive green, and this guy is more yellow gold ish. What do you guys think? I don't know much about body type of the two, but I know there are other ways to ID them correctly. There is light Spangling on the end of her rear dorsal fin and pretty big Spangling at the end of the tail, is this apparent in mono's?

Positive? Where did you get this info? I could have sworn they do, some pictures from google suggest otherwise but obviously not going to trust those.
