Can't really tell but when they get bigger the male will get really long pointed fins

Mine are 3in spawning and u can tell clearly and the fins thing is not always true I've seen females with really pointed fins and males with no point

Thanks so my concern is since they are both males am I going to have problems in the near future with aggression both being in the same tank? Right now they swim together throughout the tank and when lights go out they both go to opposite sides of tank by the driftwood pieces.

If it's just the two fish in there, then there is nothing to diffuse any aggression, so the answer is yes. It's better to have a community where they can break up their aggression and come up with a pecking order they all are happy with.
