id knifefish?

was brousing the lfs today and a knifefish caught my eye. it was labelled tiger clown knife, but as we know common names are pretty crap. to describe it it was completely black and had a orangey/yellowy/creamy small line running down its back. just wondered if anyone could tell me the sp. from that. it was a young knife, only say 4" max. i shall sneak my camera in when i go tomoro so i'll try get pics. cheers all u knife experts
 
nah i know one of those wen i see one, the line is going down its backbone from its head all the way to its tail.
 
yea it did actually, but it didnt have that white stuff around the tail. maybe cause its a juvie, ill try to get a pic tomoro to make it clearer
