I believe that's the correct name.. I had one for 4 months before it jumped from my tank. Around how much do they cost to buy? And how much can a breeder sell them for? How old do they have to be to breed, and how do you tell between sexes?
 
If I remember correctly, Bala Sharks or Tri-color sharks, have never mated in aquariums. The fish farms that do raise them use hormones to for production.

Do a bit of google crawling and you'll find much information.
 
how big is ur tank? they grow to be big fish, and require miles of water for breeding as far as i can remember

I agree. To answer your question about the price, they're dirt cheap. Like $2-$5 for a 2 incher, $10 for a 4 incher.
