I'm thinkin' bout gettin' a male but I'd like to see what yours look like first.
Tryin' to steer clear of adding more blues and yellows and I've read these guys are purple. Thanx!

I don't have a rusty and I seem to rarely find any that are not muddy brown. If you are looking for purple fish you should try acei. I have some yellow tail acei and they are dark pruple with yellow fins.

Here's a shot of mine...his body still shows a good purple/blue iridescence, but he's bigger now and the fins are a bit less of a distinct rust color. If you're looking for another purple fish besides a rusty, try a greshakei...I adore mine's colors.
