I haven't bought this pleco yet but from what I can tell from looking around here it may be a L075. The LFS calls it a sabiji ancistrus, can't find any info at all with that name. It's a not so great camera picture but was the best I could get, I'm hoping someone can ID it or atleast point me in a direction..I do plan on buying it within the next week or so, no matter what it is..so if it can't be ID'd by then I'll get better pics of it when I do get it..Thanks!!!

Yeah I figured the picture wasn't good enough, I'll swing by the LFS on the way from school and see if I can't get a better picture..

Yeah, after looking at some pictures of the L001, they do look a lot a like. Especially the coloration and formations of spots in some pictures. Now I know prices are not the same everywhere, but for a L001, what are the typical prices for one that is around 4-5"?

In so cal maybe 8 - 10 bucks. These plecos have hands down the best personality imo. you get the really expensive plecos and sometimes they are very reclusive and almost boring whereas these guys dance around your tank, eat pellets from the top, always out and up to something.

everything is cheap in socal ;) but my LFS has had this thing for almost a year now, so I really love his pattern and all, I'll probably get him then save a little and get a small royal they have as well...Don't know what it is about pleco's but i love them!

stunning! very stunning ;)
