A fellow Houstonian, woot, Anyway, I don't think the Flowerline is a trait of Red Devils, its a hybrid for sure.

Actually red devils have black spots they whole way down the side of their bodies when they are juvies, they are not called flowers though becuse they do not have a green/blue outline like "Flowers" on a Flowerhorn. He could be a Hybrid though because you never know what you are getting in LPS these days, But from my experience with raising thousands of red devil frys, That is what this fish looks like.
