Just got this guy from LFS. He is about 2 inches at the moment. The picture are pretty bad. But any help is appreciated. All I hope for is decent color and HUGE KOK.

Sex? FH Type? Potential?

I will try. He hides a lot and can be hard in the big tank. He has the couple of dots along mid section and in the last picture you can see slight pink under/behind his gills.

Kamfa... Late bloomers... I wouldn't expect a huge head out of a lfs fish tho bud... Don't get discouraged though... Feed it quality and variety and keep up with 40-50% waterchanges every week and it will reach its full potential for ya...

Also FH require hard water... Remove any driftwood or peat from the tank and mix some crushed coral with your gravel... I do a 50/50 mix with mine...

I've probably asked this question before but I'll ask again anyways..
How long does a kamfa usually take to show its full potential?
Mine doesn't seem to change a bit, just that he has gained size & I've had him for exactly 1 year now..
