ID: Monoc/ocells or hybrid?

Picked up these guys at 1", now about 5-6". Sold as ocells @ $45 a pop but not sure they are. Original source for the parents would have been an asian farm.

sick, how long did it take for em to get to 5" got mine at 1" as well. 2 months later there now currently sitting at about 3'' check out my thread id be interested to hear if yours were looking similar to mine when they were 3''. got mine as mono's but the words still out what they actually are some have said orino's and others recon mono. what diet do you have them on?

Ahh, good to know. Andre, they started on fresh baby brine, graduated to mozzie wrigglers and baby guppies, then full size guppies then dried shrimp. They are now on hikari floating pellets and bio gold. Not so good at taking pics but their pec, anal and lower caudal are brilliant red in life.

Just bought a new house, has an 8ft waterfall into a small pond which I will extend to about 16x8x4ft. These guys will be year round occupants, one of the advantages of living in tropical australia.
