I spent this morning visitng a couple of LFS near me and saw this for sale. It was in a tank with some P. delhezi but as soon as I saw it I realised it wasn't. I did think at first it was an endlicheri so I snapped it up. I last kept a bichir 2 yearsago-my WC Nigerian endli jumped and I've never been able to look at one since until today.
Its skinny-I'll sought that out no worries-but eaten some frozen tialapia already. It seems to have more dorsal finlets than an endli but I might be wrong. Anyway I got it for the same price as the Dels so I'm pleased.
I still think an endli myself and am happy with that.
I apologise for the poor photos-my camera is lousy I'm afraid
Thanks Rob
