I just this guy. At the lfs ty marked as bichir, wht kind bichir is this one.he is like 8" got him 19$ is it expensive? This is my first bichir. I think I am gonna get more ) Thx

its a senagal bichir i think female . price is ok i seen cheaper but ya. my favorite at the moment our endilicheri , ornate , koloton and teugelsi

Like mike said there is no difference other than the name. Most people would much rather buy something labeled Dinosaur bichir then polypterus senegalus so you could say that it's a marketing thing.
