Here he is. got him for like 6 bucks at ocean blue
I think somethins wrong with it though. I am under the impression that any crayfish will kill anything slow enough to catch, well i put in a feeder, its been in there for a week the cray hasnt so much as looked at it, so i figured it must be too fast for him, so i added a tadpole, which sits in front of him, and he does nothing
is it normal for him to not eat live... and how do i get him to... i want an evil crayfish:naughty:

You can't really ID from that shot. You'll need shots of the cervical groove/areola, the rostrum and carapace, the claws from above and the gonopods if it's a male.

Anyway, not every species of crayfish will eat live fish (some don't even bother shrimp or snails). Sometimes even within a very aggressive species you'll have individuals that are very passive and don't hunt (and the opposite is true for passive species as well). You can try handing a feeder to the cray to see if it'll spark some interest. I use small bluegill hooks and fishing line with a weight on the end, and hook feeders to create moving but stationary targets for my lumbering or slower cray species. Could try something like that, too.

Oh, additional thoughts... depending on the size of your tank and how it's set up, the fish may have lots of room to out maneuver the crayfish and to hide from it. Try adding more feeders to give it additional targets. And your cray may still be settling in and just not interested in eating yet, too.

Looks like red swamp crayfish (Procambarus clarkii), but like black_sun said, more shots are needed for positive ID.

Crays are unpredictable opportunists. If he's hungry and there's a fish in front of him...especially if it's sleepy or slow...he'll kill it. But this could be minutes after you add the fish or months. It's like a slasher flick- you just never know when the killer will strike!

I second P. clarkii. Crayfish can be unpredictable with potential prey, so I wouldn't bet that your feeders go unharmed in the long run.

Great ID guys, that looks just like him
Ill try the fish hook idea sounds pretty good

My cray is in with all my fish and doesn't bother any, I also have 2 apple snails in with him and they also go untouched totally.

The only live food i feed my cray is worms, and he loves em to death. worms are really good for crays opposed to live fish which don't have much nutritious value.

I have 2 wild crawfish, caught in a local stream in the shenandoah valley. I have have been feeding them night crawlers, and they love em. Not sure of the breed, but they have intense orange on their claws, pretty cool.
