Hi guys..am new to this forum.Pls help in ID my flowerhorn and also its gender.Whether it has the potential to grow a KOK.Its around 2 inches in size.

Thanks Ihsnshaik...tat was a good answer....I thought it may turn to blue kamfa..Might be wrong just a guess...
whats the best food to improve its KOK and color .As of now am feeding him with XO Humpy Head and XO Ever Red and Hikari with dried shrimp as a occasional treat...Any quality foods avail pls help

I've read people feed that to their Flowerhorn but 90% of the time it's the genes. You can get a mirror and or another Flowerhorn into a divider. Old school method to establish dominance and his kok will get bigger.

Attached is a picture of my female about the same size as yours .. She has a water kok gene they say if it doesn't pop by 3 inches chances are kok is very poor.

Thats a stunning looking female ..Ya am giving him some mirror excercise say 1hr a day ,he actually showing his dominance.By the way on KOK ,gene plays a important role i knew but am not looking for a huge KOK ..a pop is enough so that can be brought by some good foods.Hence i asked for the lists to feed.
