Can any one ID my GEO?

If you want to make sure, and for future reference, I would send moderator JK47 a PM for earth eater IDs. He is as knowledgable on them as anyone on MFK.

too small to be 100%. But chances are it will be an altifrons. Beautiful fish. 100% not a female nicaraguan.

Surinamensis is just a name that A TON of geos in stores are called. The only Geos not labaled that around me are, bahia red, steidnarchi, pellegrini, brasiliensis, balzani, tapajos red heads.

While abalios, altifrons, dikrozoster, proximus, aeroes, are all labeled Surinamensis while young because they are almost IMPOSSIBLE to differenetiate until much larger. Also Geos grow VERY VERY slow, making the ID'ing much longer of a process!

I can atest to the slow growing part lol i have had mine for about 4 months and has grown an inch, if that.
