id my giant snail ?

hey, i have two of this giant snail i got from my uncle's pond. i dont know what species it is though. any idea on you guys?

tht crayfish is just a comparison.

apple snail is the only one I know that can get that big.

really? but when i type in on the search bar, most of the apple snails are yellow. is it possible tht some apple snails are black?

Their are tons of different colors for them.

Nah, the snail isn't spiraled enough and the opening is too big.

I suppose. As long as they have time, food (vegetables), and space they should get bigger.

they're in a 33g. and would u know, they eat the pellets i threw in. and i noticed they are much more active during the night and sometimes get above the water level. but in the day they are very2 sluggish and rarely move(i mean tht they're inside the shell almost all day) . is tht usual?

By vegetables, I meant like a staple. It's not a surprise that they will eat pellets, even though vegetables are their natural diet. Light sensitivity is normal to most snails, but I don't think it is for apple snails.
