well the name gave me something to work off of. planetcatfish says perruno has 8 dorsal fin spines, but leiarius looks identical but is much more common and with 10-11 dorsal spines. i just counted 11 so its a leiarius! gonna big a big boy at 30" which is great cause he is in a 72"x18" now but im going to get a custom 7-8'x 30" tank built soon!

Marble, Achara, long whiskered pime, same fish, species is definitely Leiarius longibarbus. Can get over 30", and often get aggrevated when their whiskers(barbells) touch surfaces for too long a period of time. Best to have them in a tank that their whiskers will not touch the walls of constantly. Keep in mind that their whiskers can grow longer than their entire body.

We have 2 in our 700 gallon at work that are both about 22"-23" and freakin' cool! They are gentle giants and never even try to bother smaller fish ( unless it's a feeder goldfish ). I feed them all kinds of sinking pellets, raw shrimp and fish fillets.

Here's a blurry shot of one several months ago.....
