well what was not foreseen was the taritory dispute with my burcher the lung has been moved to a new tank for the time being my burcher has priority in that tank lol will be setting up a new tank for him soon the good thing is he is small and from what i understand thay grow slower them hell lol so i wont need a 300g in a month lol. any info tho on him would still be vary much liked thanks again

Looks like Protopterus annectens.

They DO NOT grow slowly. They grow very fast.

They usually eat everything else, but not always.

he was really calm in the store my guess is that him and my burcher dident see eye to eye thay mouth locked twice before i got him out but no damage was done to eather fish will be setting up the 125 for him need to reseal it

just picked up a 90g for him will be setting it up tomaro :)

WAL, he will chew up your entire stock before long..

x2.

I never got a fast growth rate out of either of my two WALs, but I think they were the exception to the rule as my newest WAL is huge yet is only around five years old.

Ok got his new tank set up going to let it run for a day or two to make shour the drift wood will not leach anything into the water it is a 90g a little less then half full so he has no trouble getting a breath and i had the bio media in the filter started all ready off my 150 show tank. Yousing a fluvel 404 with 2 bays of bio stone and 2 bays of carben/zeolite what you think

he is happy in his new home my only question is could he climb out? i have read that thay are really bad swimmers and my water lvl is 12-14" from the top but i have a piece of drift wood that comes about 3 inches from the top of the tank is he strong enuf to clim the wood and get out or is this something not to realy worry about i have no top on the tank for the cats might think it is a good resting place and brake the class
