Just got this guy for my new 29 gallon. forgot his name and i want to get some info on him. please ID and if youve got any personal experience with them please inform me

Looks like a banded leporinus.

yup its a banded leporinus, they get about a foot long and i hear they get pretty nasty too.

Yep. Leporinus sexfasciatus. They can be nippy and grow to 12 inches at most.

Yep leporinus, i love mine.

They are very active and mine loves algae wafers. They can definately hold their own. Mine lives in a 55 with mbuna and he doesn't take any crap.

He'll probably eat your plants too, mine has.
